INDIAN WOMEN "Coming Of Age"

Tuesday, June 24, 2008

The Indian women...which is a symbol of motherhood, cutlure, tradition and has been since ages...An Indian women commands respect no matter whether she is rural or an urban one...Her nature, her attitude and caringness towards her family members has been admired by the world since long time....But now things are changing..
In a so called 'develeoped society' where being narrow minded is considered a sort of a taboo...The Indian women has come of age...Mini Skirts and Tigh fitting jeans are considered a casual wear...and anyone wearing a salwar kameez or a saree...Gosh..is she an ancient artefact...?
The Women now in her attempt to prove herself nothing less than men has gone even one step ahead...By being so westernized and influenced by the western culture which they seem to forget is a tottally differesnt one..they have forgotten tht they are still in India..where culture is the essence..I m not against any women working..she has the rite and also the power to do it..wat the point here is dont try to be someone u r not..By just wearing indecent clothes and doing indecent activities..because no matter how advanced we claim to be...India is still not ready for it...
The recent thing which has come to my notice is the new "Splitsvilla" show on MTV...which is the height of degrading the women...Imagine 20 women wearing skimpy clothes which even ur doll wud be ashamed of wearing and doing a jiggy jiggy hoo haa..on national TV..to boys..who any ways have no self respect..in hopes of earning some Money..and losing whatever small amount of self respect they have...i wonder..how broad minded the parents are...
And then they blame guys who lech at them...Heights it is...
I respect women..but whats wrong with them..tht they can go to any extent to earn money....?
and has MTV lost all dignity? Anything to make their pockets full
With these of things happening around..i wonder y do people feel tht whenever a women wears a veil..it must be forced...Its thru her own will..and anyways with such kind of broadmindness...i'd rather have someone wear a veil than a mini skirt...

THE "REALITY" of CHILD LABOUR

Wednesday, June 18, 2008

Child Labour....An issue which has been haunting us since decades....It is the employment of a child who is below the age of 14...It has been happening thoughout ages in front of our very own eyes..but no measures have been done to stop it...However with the newe NGO's coming in place and implementiing their rules..it looks like the wheels have started to turn...
But what is more shattering is that what if a child is working in order to feed his family...India being a country where about 60% of the people are below the poverty line...and millions of them survive only on one meal per day...I ask What is wrong if a child is working willingly to support his family...as a domestic servant or as a chai wala....Will the govt provide him with schooling facilities if he doesnt work?...who is going to take the responsibility?
I know its easy to say this sitting in an Air conditioned room on a revolving chair..but then why are we pointing fingers at people who are employing them and giving them a reason to live...Who else is going to take care of them...Many of you will say that its bad to treat a child below 14 in such a manner...then i say why not point fingers at all those so called "Reality shows"..who make children do all kind of stunts in order to fill their pockets...Isnt that Child abuse or Child Labour?
Making a child go through such a hard trauma thinking whether he will survive this episode or not..isnt that enough mental stress?,...where are the NGO's gone then?...Also making them dance and perform hiding in They-have-talent wake....isnt that being a hippcracy?....
i m not saying that encourage child labour...what im trying to say is that just by pointing fingers it wont stop..u need to do something about it...and if u feel so that they r wrong...i feel that even a children reality show, ads, movies..all which lead to benefiting the organization or a channel..y dont people see this?....its more Child abuse than a Domestic servant or a Chai wala or a Waiter...
Also reality shows like Chak De Bachhey....who claim to bring children from all corners of the world..n what do they do???...Make them perform..For Gods sake..arent there enough of reality shows going around with u coming up n torturing us....?....And if you r getting kids from villages ..y not take an initiative into providing them with good schooling?,....No, that would never happen...its not their agenda...Yes, but making them dance and sing...and for sick reasons is there primary motive...
I say bullshit...
I respect a child working at a stall more than the one who is dancing and begging for votes...atleast he is hard working (Balls to channels who crib about "Raag, Sur, Dance, Expressions)...Damn you judges!!!...N look at the immaturity of our people..Crores of money is wasted in making a single child win..where millions could have been rehabilitated...or educated

No wonder India is going to the Dogs...Get a life u sickheads....Dancing n singing is not what will make India Grow...Make them into professionals of which India can be proud of...
But with this kind of attitude..I wonder when will the word "Developing" be removed from beside India

Dreamzzz.zzz.zzzz

All of us in this world have experienced what dreams are. and those who say that they dont dream are the ones who cannot remember it properly or a just lying. Since ages the mystery of dreams has baffled the entire universe. When one sleeps what exactly does he dream? are dreams an interpretation of reality? Are they in black and white or colour? How long do they last? And why do we forget them so easily? these r some of the very basic question one might ask himself...but unfortunately none of them have a definite yes or a no..So what are dreams? and why do they happen everyday...? Some people of claiming to foresee the future in their dreams , others claim that they can sense a virtual reality in their dreams..So is it true that one can foresee the future in the dreams...? Actually speaking the dreams of a person combines element from his real life and his unreal life which happens to be his fantasies and creates an experience close to reality...Some people actually connect the feel of deja vu to the dreams...Very few seem to understand the mystery behind the dejavu feel..Its actually a trick played by your mind into thinking that a particular event has happened before...But the question is..y wud our mind play such a trick?..I believe that a mind is the one which controls our actions and it is obvious that a thing which can think for its own has the ability to takeover something which cannot control itself..our body is just a pawn of our mind...and whatever happens with us is controlled thouroughly by our brain...Infact a person feels tired only when the neurons of the brain wander around thus causing a decrease in oxygen in brain..therefore we feel tired..and thus sleep..at night after a dream when we get up the neurons are back in place and thus we feel fresh..its as simple as restarting a computer..so now u knw how a PC wa made..yes ur rite..by looking at the design of a brain..Infact research shows that till date man has utilized only 15% of his brains potential..Imagine with only 15% of exposure, humans are the fittest specie on this earth capable of almost anything from destruction to outmost technology one can possibly imagine...what will be our full potential God only knows..

The Butterfly Effect

Sunday, June 1, 2008

When the earth was born just about some billion years ago and was empty for another millions of years, it was a sad story of things which could not be heard or seen by anyone and therefore there very purpose of existence was destroyed..they lived in peace, but without opinions and views there is no peace...however the irony is that , when there are opinion and views, the peace is disturbed. The inhabitance of humans and animals in this godforsaken world was brought about by a series of changes that took place...survival of the fittest became the need of the hour and century after century we saw that humans after all are the fittest and therefore can overpower other species...if it wasn't that way..the civilization of humans would have been extinct like any other specie on this earth..but as u see that we have managed to survive thru the ages...we have created a place which we call world and thus live in so called peace and harmony...n again this brings to me a very mundane question which people have been hearing thruout ages.."If v have survived..than wats our purpose?"...well there is a purpose to everything on this planet or for that matter in this universe..'The purpose of life is to end'...but what matters is the time spend in between birth and death...so what does one do..'makes oneself heard'...as v have seen a series of changes thru decades...one of which is called the globalization...so how does one make himself heard...thru communication?....how do i communicate..thru internet..?....how thu internet...yes ur rite...Blogging....so here is my first blog..after about 8000 days of my existence which is not even a speck in this world considering the time earth has spent revolving....i have heard that by blogging u can make urself heard and bring about changes..ironically the person who told me this was a friend of mine called 'Kranti'....the word Kranti..in the Hindi language means 'Revolution'...so what could have been better to learn revolution from a revolutionary name...so here is my first blog awaiting to be read. They say that a flutter of a butterfly's wing can cause a tornado to form..i hope my blogging would create a same Butterfly effect which i am hoping for...adios
